A tribute to the Bara Kingdom of southwestern Madagascar, ILAY celebrates the art of crochet through its iconic half-moon silhouette. Crafted over 65 hours, its tightly woven raffia structure is complemented by a signature handle and detachable strap composed of fifty delicately assembled spheres. Designed to move with ease, ILAY can be worn close to the body, carried by hand, or styled as a clutch.
Meet SOAN in Sand
Inspired by the Betsileo Kingdom of Madagascar, SOAN balances versatility with understated elegance. Requiring 65 hours of craftsmanship, this artisanal raffia silhouette features a top handle and a braided strap that can be styled in multiple ways, allowing it to transition effortlessly from hand-held to crossbody wear. Handcrafted over 45 hours, EYA draws inspiration from the Betsimisaraka Kingdom of Madagascar, whose name translates to “the many inseparable.” Distinguished by its sculptural loops and interwoven cords, the design pays homage to the rounded braiding traditions unique to the region.
